About the event

"Smokers Allowed" Pop Up Show at Pizzo Studio – Opening January 23rd

We’re excited to present a very special pop-up exhibition featuring Jennifer Vermeersch and Lily Bacon. Though distinct in medium and approach, their work is deeply connected by intuition, ritual, and an unwavering attention to detail.

Jennifer Vermeersch creates jewelry that feels both ancient and deeply personal. Working from instinct, her adornments explore ideas of status, wealth, time, and ceremony. Each piece carries a spiritual presence—objects meant not just to be worn, but to be experienced as ritual.

LilyAnna Bacon, also known as BossCupid, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Ferndale, MI, with roots in New York City’s creative scene. Known for her meticulous craftsmanship across nail art, tattooing, and painting, Lily’s work blends precision with dreamlike inspiration, resulting in pieces that feel intimate, surreal, and quietly powerful.

Together, this exhibition is a dialogue—where instinct meets intention, and tradition intertwines with contemporary expression.

🖼 Gallery Hours: Friday–Sunday, 12–5pm Opening reception is Friday, January 23rd from 6-9 pm. Come celebrate the vibrant talent of our two local artists! No RSVP needed, just come!
